５章
1. 群衆が天の神の御言葉を聞こうとして彼のところに押し寄せて来たので、彼はゲネサレ湖のほとりに立っていました。
2. そして、湖のほとりに二艘の小舟があるのをご覧になりました。しかし、その漁夫たちはその小舟（それら）から出て、彼らの諸々の網を洗っていました。
3. その時、彼は小舟の一艘に乗り込まれましたが、それはシメオンのものでした。そして、彼にその地から少し〔沖に〕出るようにと頼まれました。それから、彼は座って群衆に小舟から教えられました。
4. 彼が語り終えると、彼はシメオンに仰せられました。「深みに進め、それから、あなたの諸々の網を漁のために下ろしなさい。」
5. しかし、シメオンは答えて彼に言いました。「ご主人、私たちは一晩中骨折って働きました。しかし、何も取れなかったです。けれども、あなたの言葉ですから私は網を下ろしましょう。」
6. そして、彼らが言われた事をすると、彼らは非常に多くの魚を捕らえ、また彼らの網は破れていました。
7. そこで、彼らは他の舟にいる彼らの仲間に来て彼らを手伝うように合図をしました。そこで彼らが来ましたが、両方の舟は一杯になって、沈み始めました。
8. シメオン・ペテロはそれを見て、イエスの膝元にひれ伏して、こう言いました。「私から離れてください。私は罪深い人間ですから。おお主よ！」
9. 彼も、彼と一緒にいた者も皆、彼らが捕らえた魚で仰天させられたのです。
10. そして、それはヤコブとヨハネ、かのゼベディの息子たちも同じでした。彼らはシメオンの仲間でした。それからイエスはシメオンに仰せられました。「恐れないでいなさい。今からおまえは諸々の人間をとるのだ。」
11. そこで、彼らは自分たちの（彼らの）小舟を陸に上げると、彼らは全てを捨て、それから、彼に従ったのです。
12. さて、それから彼はある町におられましたが、見よ、一人の全身がレプラになっている人がイエスに会いました。すると、彼は顔を伏せ、そして、彼に嘆願して言いました。「主よ、もし、お心でしたら、あなた様は私を清くすることがおできです。」
13. その時、彼はご自分の手を伸ばし、彼に触れてこう仰せられました。「私はそう願っている。清められなさい。」すぐに、そのレプラは彼から去ってしまいました。
14. そして、彼はその人（彼）に誰にも〔この事を〕言わないようにと命じられました。「行って、あなた自身を祭司に見せなさい。それから、あなたの清めのために、彼らに対する証しとして、モーセが命じていたような奉げ物をしなさい。」
15. しかし、彼についての知らせは、ますます伝え広がっていき、非常に多くの群衆が聞くために、また自分たちのうちの虚弱な人々を癒してもらおうとして寄り集まって来ました。
16. しかし、彼は、しばしば人気のないところに引いて祈りをなさっていました。
17. ところで、ある日、彼が教えておられましたが、そこにファリサイ派の人々と法の教師たちが座っていました。彼らは、ガリラヤ、ユダヤ、エルサレムからやって来ていました。そして、主の御力が彼らの癒しのための現わされていました。
18. その時、見よ、人々が麻痺患者をベッドに寝かせたまま連れて来ました。彼らは彼をイエスの前に連れて行って、そこに置こうとしたのです。
19. しかし、彼らは群衆のために、彼を連れて入ることはできないことを知ったので、屋根にのぼって屋根瓦をはずし、彼をベッドのまま中央のイエスの前に降ろしました。
20. 彼は彼らの信仰をご覧になると、彼に仰せられました。「男よ、あなたの諸々の罪は赦されている。」
21. すると、法学者たちとファリサイ派の人々は論考し始めて、こう言いました。「冒涜を言うこの者は誰だ？天の神のほかにだれが諸々の罪を赦せるのか？」
23. どちらがた易いか、『あなたの諸々の罪は赦されている』と言うのと、『立ち上がって歩きなさい』というのと？
24. しかし、あなたがたが人の子は地上で諸々の罪を赦す権威を持っていることを知るために。」彼は麻痺の患者であった男性に仰せられました「私はあなたに言う。起き上がりなさい。あなたのベッドを持って、あなたの家に帰りなさい。」
25. すぐに、彼らの前で彼は起き上がり、寝ていた物を取り上げ、その上、天の神の栄光を賛美しながら自分の家へ向かって出て行きました。
26. すると、彼らは皆あっけにとられ、天の神の栄光を賛美し、また、恐れに満たされて言いました。「私たちは今日、不思議なことを見た！」
28. そこで、彼は全てを放って立ち上がり、それから、彼に従いました。
28. その時、レビは彼のために自分の家で、非常に大きな宴を設けました。そして、非常に多くの徴税請負人たちや、他の人々たちが、彼らと一緒に座っていました。
30. すると、彼らの〔中にいた〕法学者たちとファリサイ派の人々は彼の弟子たちに不満をもらして、こう言いました。「どうして君たちは徴税請負人たちや罪人どもと一緒に食べたり飲んだりするのか？」
31. イエスは彼らに答え、そして、仰せられました。「健在な人々には医者は必要がない。けれども、病人にはいる。
32. 私は義人たちを呼ぶために来たのではない。諸々の罪人たちを呼んで悔い改めさせるために来たのだ。」
33. それから、彼らは彼に言いました。「ヨハネの弟子たちは時々断食をし、また、祈っている。そして、同じようにファリサイ派の人々もしているのに、あなたの弟子たちは、どうして食べたり飲んだりしているのか？」
35. しかし、その花婿が彼らから取り上げられる日々が来る。その時には、彼らは断食をする。」
36. その時、彼は彼らに譬えでお語りになりました。「だれも新しい着物からの布切れを古い着物に継ぎ合わせはしない。そうしないと、新しいものは〔古いものを〕裂いてしまう。そして、新しいものからとってきたつぎはぎは、古い物に合わないのだ。
37. また、誰も新しいワインを古いワイン用の皮袋に入れることはない。そうでないと、新しいワインは皮袋を破裂させ、そして、こぼれてしまう。また、ワイン用の皮袋も台無しになる。
38. しかし、新しいワインは新しいワイン用皮袋に入れるべきだ。そうすればどちらもまだ使える（保たれる）。
39. また、古いワインを飲んでいる人ですぐに新しい物を欲しがる人は誰もいない。彼は『この古いほうが良い』と言うからだ。」
Luk 5:1 And it happened that the crowd pressed on Him to hear the Word of God, He stood by the lake of Gennesaret.
Luk 5:2 And He saw two boats standing by the lake. But the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.
Luk 5:3 And He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to thrust out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the people out of the boat.
Luk 5:4 And as He stopped speaking, He said to Simon, Launch out into the deep and let your nets down for a haul.
Luk 5:5 And answering, Simon said to Him, Master, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing. Yet at Your word I will let down the net.
Luk 5:6 And doing this, they enclosed a great multitude of fish. And their net was being torn.
Luk 5:7 And they signaled the partners, those in the other boat, to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking.
Luk 5:8 And seeing, Simon Peter fell at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.
Luk 5:9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the haul of fish which they had taken,
Luk 5:10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear, from now on you will be taking men alive.
Luk 5:11 And bringing their boats onto land, forsaking all things, they followed Him.
Luk 5:12 And it happened, as He was in a certain city, behold, a man full of leprosy! And seeing Jesus, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, Lord, if You will, You can cleanse me.
Luk 5:13 And stretching out the hand, He touched him, saying, I will! Be clean! And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
Luk 5:14 And He commanded him, Tell no one, but go and show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
Luk 5:15 But the word about Him spread even more. And great crowds were coming to hear, and to be healed from their infirmities by Him.
Luk 5:16 But He was drawing back in the wilderness, and praying.
Luk 5:17 And it happened on one of the days, even He was teaching. And Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was there, for the curing of them.
Luk 5:18 And behold, men carrying, on a cot, a man who was paralyzed. And they sought to bring him in and to lay him before Him.
Luk 5:19 And not finding a way by which they might bring him in through the crowd, going up on the housetop, they let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst, before Jesus.
Luk 5:20 And seeing their faith, He said to him, Man, your sins are forgiven you.
Luk 5:21 And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?
Luk 5:22 But knowing their thoughts, answering, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason in your hearts?
Luk 5:23 Which is easier, to say, Your sins are forgiven you; or to say, Rise up and walk?
Luk 5:24 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, He said to the paralytic, I say to you, Arise, and take up your cot and go to your house.
Luk 5:25 And immediately he rose up before them and took up that on which he lay. And he departed to his own house, glorifying God.
Luk 5:26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, We saw wonderful things today.
Luk 5:27 And after these things He went out and saw a tax-collector named Levi, sitting at the tax-office. And He said to him, Follow Me.
Luk 5:28 And leaving all, he rose up and followed Him.
Luk 5:29 And Levi made a great feast in his own house for Him. And there was a great company of tax-collectors and of others who were reclining with them.
Luk 5:30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax-collectors and sinners?
Luk 5:31 And Jesus answered and said to them, Those who are sound do not need a physician, but those who are sick.
Luk 5:32 I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.
Luk 5:33 And they said to Him, Why do John's disciples fast often and make prayers, and also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?
Luk 5:34 But He said to them, Can you make the sons of the bridechamber fast while the bridegroom is with them?
Luk 5:35 But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then they shall fast in those days.
Luk 5:36 And He also spoke a parable to them: No one puts a piece of a new garment on an old garment. Otherwise, both the new will tear, and the old does not match the piece from the new.
Luk 5:37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskin will perish.
Luk 5:38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved together.
Luk 5:39 Also no one having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, The old is better.
