２２章
1. さて、種入れぬパンの祭りが近づいていました。それは、過ぎ越しとも呼ばれています。
2. そして、祭司の長たちと律法学者たちとは、どうやれば、彼らは彼を殺せるだろうかと思案していました。彼らは民を恐れていたからです。
3. ところで、サタンがユダに入りました。彼はイスカリオットという姓であって、十二人の一人に数えられていました。
4. そこで、彼は行って、祭司の長たちや指揮官たちと、どうやって彼を彼らに売ろうかと相談しました。
5. すると、彼らは喜び、彼に金を払う事を承知したのです。
6. そこで彼は約束しました。そして、群衆から離れて、機会をうかがっていました。
7. さて、種入れぬパンの日になりました。その日に、過ぎ越しは殺されることになっています。
8. そこで、彼はペテロとヨハネを送って仰せられました。「行きなさい。そして、私たちのために過ぎ越しを食べることが出来るように、用意をしてきなさい。」
9. そこで、彼らは彼に言いました。「あなたは、私たちに、どこで用意をするように、お望みですか？」
10. すると、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「見なさい。おまえたちがその町に入ると、水が入った壷を運んでいる、一人の男性がおまえたちと出会う。彼について行って、彼が入る家に入りなさい。
11. それから、おまえたちは家の主人に言いなさい。『先生があなたにこう仰せになっています。「私が過ぎ越しを、私の弟子たちと食べる客間はどこですか？」と』
12. すると、彼は、おまえたちに備えができている二階の部屋を見せてくれるから、そこに準備をしなさい。」
13. そこで、彼らは行って、彼が彼らに仰せになっていたとおりに、それを見つけ、彼らは過ぎ越しの準備をしました。
14. 時が来ると、彼は席につきましたが、十二使徒も彼と一緒でした。
15. その時、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「私は、苦難の前に、過ぎ越しをおまえたちと食べることを、燃えるような思いで願た。
16. 私はおまえたちに言う。私はもはやそれを天の神の王国が実現するまでは、決して食べることはない。」
17. その時、彼は杯を取り、感謝を捧げ、それから、仰せられました。「これを取り、そして、おまえたちの間でそれを分けなさい。
18. なぜなら、私はおまえたちに言う。ぶどうの実から作った飲み物を、天の神の王国がくるまでは、飲まないからだ。」
20. 同じように、彼はまた、杯を晩餐の後に取って仰せられました。「この杯はおまえたちのために流される、私の血による新しい契約だ。
21. しかし、見よ、私を売り渡す者が、このテーブルに、私と一緒にいる。
22. そして、人の子はそれが決められていたように行く。しかし、彼を売り渡す、その人は忌まわしいことだ。」
23. その時、彼らはお互いの間で、彼らのうちの誰がこのことをするのかと疑い始めました。
24. ところで、彼らの間で誰が一番偉大な者と思われるかについて議論がありました。
25. そこで、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「異邦の王たちは彼らの上に支配権を持とうと働いている。また、彼らに権威を持とうとする者たちは、「恩人」と呼ばれている。
26. しかし、おまえたちの間ではそうであってはいけない。反対に、おまえたちの間で一番偉い人は、より若い人のようになりなさい。また、治めたい人は、仕える者のようでありなさい。
27. テーブルに座っている人と、仕えている人と、どちらが偉いのか？テーブルに座っている人ではないのか？しかし、私でさえ、おまえたちの間では、仕え人のようにしている。
28. しかし、おまえたちは私の試みの時にも、私と一緒にいてくれた人たちだ。
29. 私の父が私に授けて下さるように、私はおまえたちに王国を与える。
30. おまえたちは私の王国で、私のテーブルについて食べたり飲んだりし、またこのイスラエルの十二部族を裁く王座につく。」
31. それから、主は仰せられました。「シモン、シモン！実に、サタンがおまえを小麦のようにふるいにかけるように求めた。
32. しかし、私はおまえのためにおまえの信仰がなくならないようにk懇願した。そこでおまえは立ち返ったら、おまえの兄弟たちを力づけてあげなさい。」
33. しかし、彼は彼に言いました。「主よ、私はあなたと一緒に行く準備は出来ています。〔それが〕牢獄であろうが、死であろうが。」
34. その時彼は仰せられました。「私はおまえに言う。ペテロよ。今日、雄鶏が鳴く前に、おまえは私を知らないと、三回否定する。」
35. また、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「私がおまえたちを金袋も、背負い袋も、二足のサンダルも、持たせないで遣わした時に、おまえたちは何か不足したものがあったか？」すると彼らは言いました。「何もありませんでした。」
36. それから（その時）、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「しかし今は、金袋がある者はそれを持って行きなさい。そして、剣の無い者は、着物を売って、剣を買いなさい。
37. 私はおまえたちに言う。私について『そして、彼は罪人たちと一緒に数えられた。』と書かれていることは、成就しなければならない。なぜなら、私についての事は、終わるからだ。」
38. そこで彼らは言いました。「主よ、ご覧下さい剣は二振りございます。」すると彼は彼らに仰せられました。「十分だ。」
39. 出て来ると、いつもなさっていたように、彼はオリブ山に行かれました。そして、ご自分の（彼の）弟子たちも彼に従って行きました。
40. 彼がその場所に来られた時、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「祈っていて、誘惑に入り込まないようにしなさい。」
41. そして、彼は彼らのところから、石を投げて届く位の所に離れて行き、それから、ひざまずいて祈り、
42. こう仰せられました。「おとうさま、もし、あなたの御旨でありますならば、この杯を私から取り除いてください。しかし、私の思いではなく、あなたの御旨がなりますように。」
43. その時、一人の御使いが天から彼に現れて、彼を力づけました。
44. それから、苦悩しながら、彼はよりいっそう祈られました。その時、彼の汗は血が地に滴り落ちるような、大きな滴りとなっていました。
45. 彼が祈りから立って、ご自分の弟子たちの所に来ると、彼は彼らが悲しみのために寝入ってしまっているのをご覧になりました。
46. その時、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「どうして、おまえたちは寝ているのか？起きて祈っていなさい。そうしないと、おまえたちは誘惑に陥るから。」
47. すると、彼がまだお語りになっている間に、見よ、一群れの人々と、十二人の一人、ユダと呼ばれる者が、彼らの前に来て、イエスに近づき、彼にキスをしました。
48. しかし、イエスは彼に仰せられました。「ユダ、おまえはキスをもって人の子を裏切るのか？」
49. 彼の周りにいた人々は、起こっているのかを見て、彼らは彼に言いました。「主よ、この剣で突いてやりましょうか？」
50. そして、彼らの一人が、大祭司の僕を打ち、彼の右の耳を切り落としました。
51. しかし、イエスは答え、それから、仰せられました。「これでやめなさい！」それから、彼は彼の耳に触れ、彼を癒されました。
52. その時、イエスは、彼のところに来ていた、大祭司たち、神殿の司たち、そして、長老たちに仰せられました。「あなたがたはまるで強盗に向かうようにして、剣や棍棒を持って出て来たのか、？
53. 私が毎日あなたがたと神殿で一緒にいたときには、あなたがたは私を捕まえようとはしなかった。しかし、今はあなたがたの時、また、闇の権力者の時だ。
54. 彼を捕らえると、大祭司たち（彼ら）は彼を連行し、それから、彼を、大祭司の家に連れて行きました。しかし、ペテロは少し離れてついて行きました。
55. さて、彼らは中庭のまん中で火を焚いていました。そして、皆で座っていましたが、ペテロも彼らの間に座っていました。
56. すると、ある召使の少女が彼が火のそばに座っているのを見て、彼をじっと見つめ、それから、言いました。「この男の人も、彼と一緒にいました。」
57. しかし、彼は彼を否定して言いました。「女の子、私はそんな人（彼）は知らないね。」
58. しばらくして、他の人が彼を見、それから、言いました。「お前も彼らの仲間だ。」しかし、ペテロは言いました。「お前、（男よ）私は違うよ！」
59. それから、一時すぎたころ、他の人が確信を持って、断言しながら言いました。「確かにこの男も彼と一緒だった。あの男もガリラヤ人だから。」
60. しかし、ペテロは言いました。「男よ、おれはお前の言っている事がわからない。」すぐに、彼がまだ語っている間に、雄鶏が鳴きました。
61. すると、主は振り返って、ペテロを見つめられました。そして、ペテロは主が彼に「雄鶏が鳴く前に、おまえは私を三回否定する。」と仰せられた、そのお言葉を思い出しました。
62. そこで、ペテロは出て行き、それから、激しく泣きました。
63. さて、イエスを捕えていた人々は、彼をあざけり、また打ちました。
64. それから、彼らは、彼に目隠しをし、彼の顔を殴りました。そして、彼に尋ねながら、こう言いました。「預言しろ。たたいたのは誰だ？」
65. また、彼らは他の多くの事を言って彼を侮辱しました。
66. さて、民の長老たちや、祭司の長たち、また律法学者たちが互いにやって来ると、彼を彼らの議会に連行して、こう言いました。
67. 「お前はキリストなのか？われわれに言え。」すると、彼は彼らに仰せになりました。「もし、私が言ったとしても、あなたがたは信じまい。
68. また、私が訪ねても、あなたがたは答えないし、私を行かせることもするまい。
69. この後、人の子は力ある天の神の右に座すことになる。」
70. その時、彼らは皆言いました。「それなら、お前は天の神の御子なのか？」すると、彼は彼らに仰せになりました。「あなたがたが言うとおり、私である。」
71. すると、彼らは言いました。「我々は、これ以上の証人が必要であろうか。われわれ自身で、彼の口から出たことを聞いたのだから。」
Luk 22:1 And the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, drew near.
Luk 22:2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people.
Luk 22:3 And Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve.
Luk 22:4 And going, he talked with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them.
Luk 22:5 And they were glad and they agreed to give him silver.
Luk 22:6 And he fully consented, and he sought opportunity to betray Him to them, away from the crowd.
Luk 22:7 And the day of the Unleavened Bread came, when the passover must be killed.
Luk 22:8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, so that we may eat.
Luk 22:9 And they said to Him. Where do You desire that we prepare?
Luk 22:10 And He said to them, Behold, when you have entered into the city, you will meet a man bearing a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house where he enters.
Luk 22:11 And you shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room where I shall eat the passover with My disciples?
Luk 22:12 And he shall show you a large, furnished upper room. Prepare there.
Luk 22:13 And they went and found it as He had said to them. And they prepared the passover.
Luk 22:14 And when the hour came, He and the twelve apostles with Him reclined.
Luk 22:15 And He said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer.
Luk 22:16 For I say to you, I will not any more eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Luk 22:17 And He took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves.
Luk 22:18 For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God shall come.
Luk 22:19 And He took bread and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you, this do in remembrance of Me.
Luk 22:20 In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.
Luk 22:21 But, behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table.
Luk 22:22 And truly the Son of Man goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!
Luk 22:23 And they began to inquire among themselves which of them it was that should do this thing.
Luk 22:24 And there was also a dispute among them as to which of them seems to be greater.
Luk 22:25 And He said to them, The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them. And they who exercise authority on them are called benefactors.
Luk 22:26 But you shall not be so: but the greater among you, let him be as the lesser, and he who governs, as one who serves.
Luk 22:27 For which is the greater; he who reclines, or he who serves? Is it not he who reclines? But I am among you as He who serves.
Luk 22:28 You are those who have continued with Me in My trials.
Luk 22:29 And I appoint a kingdom to you, as My Father has appointed to Me,
Luk 22:30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luk 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired you, that he may sift you as wheat.
Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.
Luk 22:33 And he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You, both into prison and into death.
Luk 22:34 And He said, I say to you, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day before you shall deny knowing Me three times.
Luk 22:35 And He said to them, When I sent you without purse and wallet and sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing.
Luk 22:36 And He said to them, But now, he who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his wallet. And he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
Luk 22:37 For I say to you that this which is written must yet be accomplished in Me, "And he was reckoned among the transgressors"; for the things concerning Me have an end.
Luk 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And He said to them, It is enough.
Luk 22:39 And going out, according to His custom, He went to the Mount of Olives. And His disciples also followed Him.
Luk 22:40 And when He was at the place, He said to them, Pray that you do not enter into temptation.
Luk 22:41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw. And He kneeled down and prayed,
Luk 22:42 saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.
Luk 22:43 And an angel appeared to Him from Heaven, strengthening Him.
Luk 22:44 And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Luk 22:45 And when He rose up from prayer and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping because of sorrow.
Luk 22:46 And He said to them, Why do you sleep? Rise and pray lest you enter into temptation.
Luk 22:47 And as He was yet speaking, behold a crowd! And he who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, went before them. And he drew near Jesus to kiss Him.
Luk 22:48 But Jesus said to him, Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?
Luk 22:49 And those around Him seeing what was about to occur, they said to him, Lord, shall we strike with the sword?
Luk 22:50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
Luk 22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Let it go until now. And touching his ear, He healed him.
Luk 22:52 And Jesus said to the chief priests and commanders of the temple, and the elders, who had come to Him, Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and staves?
Luk 22:53 When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hand on Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of the darkness.
Luk 22:54 And laying hold on Him, they led Him away and brought Him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
Luk 22:55 And lighting a fire in the middle of the court, and they sitting down, Peter sat in their midst.
Luk 22:56 But a certain slave-girl saw him as he sat by the fire and earnestly looked on him and said, This man was with him also.
Luk 22:57 And he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him.
Luk 22:58 And after a little while another saw him and said, You also are of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not!
Luk 22:59 And about an hour afterward, another confidently affirmed, saying, Truly this one was also with him, for he is a Galilean.
Luk 22:60 And Peter said, Man, I do not know what you say. And immediately, while he still spoke, the cock crowed.
Luk 22:61 And the Lord turned and looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the cock crows, you shall deny Me three times.
Luk 22:62 And Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Luk 22:63 And the men who held Jesus mocked Him, beating Him.
Luk 22:64 And blindfolding Him, they struck Him on His face. And they asked Him, saying, Prophesy! Who is it who struck you?
Luk 22:65 And they spoke many other things blasphemously against Him.
Luk 22:66 And when day came, the body of elders of the people, and the chief priests and the scribes, came together. And they led Him to the sanhedrin, saying,
Luk 22:67 Are you the Christ? Tell us. And He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe.
Luk 22:68 Also if I ask you, you will not answer Me nor let Me go.
Luk 22:69 From now on the Son of Man shall sit at the right hand of the power of God.
Luk 22:70 And they all said, Are you then the Son of God? And He said to them, You say it, because I AM!
Luk 22:71 And they said, What need do we have for any witness? For we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.
