２０章
Luk 20:1 ある日、イエスが宮で人々に教え、福音を宣べておられると祭司長や律法学者たちが、長老たちと共に近寄ってきて、
Luk 20:2 イエスに言いました、「何の権威によってこれらの事をするのですか。そうする権威をあなたに与えたのはだれですか、わたしたちに言ってください」。
Luk 20:3 そこで、イエスは答えて言われた、「わたしもひと言たずねよう。それに答えてほしい。
Luk 20:4 ヨハネのバプテスマは天からであったか、人からであったか」。
Luk 20:5 彼らは互に論じて言いました、「もし天からだと言えば、ではなぜ彼を信じなかったのか、とイエスは言うだろう。
Luk 20:6 しかし、もし人からだと言えば、民衆はみなヨハネを預言者だと信じているから、わたしたちを石で打つだろう」。
Luk 20:7 それで彼らは「どこからか知りません」と答えた。
Luk 20:8 イエスはこれに対して言われた、「わたしも何の権威によってこれらの事をするのか、あなたがたに言うまい」。
Luk 20:9 そこでイエスは次の譬を民衆に語り出されました。「ある人がぶどう園を造って農夫たちに貸し、長い旅に出た。
Luk 20:10 季節になったので、農夫たちのところへひとりの僕を送って、ぶどう園の収穫の分け前を出させようとした。ところが、農夫たちは、その僕を袋だたきにし、から手で帰らせた。
Luk 20:11 そこで彼はもうひとりの僕を送った。彼らはその僕も袋だたきにし、侮辱を加えてから手で帰らせた。
Luk 20:12 そこで更に三人目の者を送ったが、彼らはこの者も傷を負わせて追い出した。
Luk 20:13 ぶどう園の主人は言いました、『どうしようか。そうだ、わたしの愛子をつかわそう。これならたぶん敬ってくれるだろう』。
Luk 20:14 ところが、農夫たちは彼を見ると、『あれはあと取りだ。あれを殺してしまおう。そうしたら、その財産はわれわれのものになるのだ』と互に話し合い、
Luk 20:15 彼をぶどう園の外に追い出して殺した。そのさい、ぶどう園の主人は彼らをどうするだろうか。
Luk 20:16 彼は出てきて、この農夫たちを殺し、ぶどう園を他の人々に与えるであろう」。人々はこれを聞いて、「そんなことがあってはなりません」と言いました。
Luk 20:17 そこで、イエスは彼らを見つめて言われた、「それでは、『家造りらの捨てた石が隅のかしら石になった』と書いてあるのは、どういうことか。
Luk 20:18 すべてその石の上に落ちる者は打ち砕かれ、それがだれかの上に落ちかかるなら、その人はこなみじんにされるであろう」。
Luk 20:19 このとき、律法学者たちや祭司長たちはイエスに手をかけようと思ったが、民衆を恐れた。いまの譬が自分たちに当てて語られたのだと、悟ったからです。
Luk 20:20 そこで、彼らは機会をうかがい、義人を装うまわし者どもを送って、イエスを総督の支配と権威とに引き渡すため、その言葉じりを捕えさせようとした。
Luk 20:21 彼らは尋ねて言いました、「先生、わたしたちは、あなたの語り教えられることが正しく、また、あなたは分け隔てをなさらず、真理に基いて神の道を教えておられることを、承知しています。
Luk 20:22 ところで、カイザルに貢を納めてよいでしょうか、いけないでしょうか」。
Luk 20:23 イエスは彼らの悪巧みを見破って言われた、
Luk 20:24 「デナリを見せなさい。それにあるのは、だれの肖像、だれの記号なのか」。「カイザルのです」と、彼らが答えた。
Luk 20:25 するとイエスは彼らに言われた、「それなら、カイザルのものはカイザルに、神のものは神に返しなさい」。
Luk 20:26 そこで彼らは、民衆の前でイエスの言葉じりを捕えることができず、その答に驚嘆して、黙ってしまった。
Luk 20:27 復活ということはないと言い張っていたサドカイ人のある者たちが、イエスに近寄ってきて質問した、
Luk 20:28 「先生、モーセは、わたしたちのためにこう書いています、『もしある人の兄が妻をめとり、子がなくて死んだなら、弟はこの女をめとって、兄のために子をもうけねばならない』。
Luk 20:29 ところで、ここに七人の兄弟がいました。長男は妻をめとりましたが、子がなくて死に、
Luk 20:30 そして次男、三男と、次々に、その女をめとり、
Luk 20:31 七人とも同様に、子をもうけずに死にました。
Luk 20:32 のちに、その女も死にました。
Luk 20:33 さて、復活の時には、この女は七人のうち、だれの妻になるのですか。七人とも彼女を妻にしたのですが」。
Luk 20:34 イエスは彼らに言われた、「この世の子らは、めとったり、とついだりするが、
Luk 20:35 かの世にはいって死人からの復活にあずかるにふさわしい者たちは、めとったり、とついだりすることはない。
Luk 20:36 彼らは天使に等しいものであり、また復活にあずかるゆえに、神の子でもあるので、もう死ぬことはあり得ないからです。
Luk 20:37 死人がよみがえることは、モーセも柴の篇で、主を『アブラハムの神、イサクの神、ヤコブの神』と呼んで、これを示した。
Luk 20:38 神は死んだ者の神ではなく、生きている者の神です。人はみな神に生きるものだからです」。
Luk 20:39 律法学者のうちのある人々が答えて言いました、「先生、仰せのとおりです」。
Luk 20:40 彼らはそれ以上何もあえて問いかけようとしなかった。
Luk 20:41 イエスは彼らに言われた、「どうして人々はキリストをダビデの子だと言うのか。
Luk 20:42 ダビデ自身が詩篇の中で言っている、『主はわが主に仰せになった、
Luk 20:43 あなたの敵をあなたの足台とする時までは、わたしの右に座していなさい』。
Luk 20:44 このように、ダビデはキリストを主と呼んでいる。それなら、どうしてキリストはダビデの子であろうか」。
Luk 20:45 民衆がみな聞いているとき、イエスは弟子たちに言われた、
Luk 20:46 「律法学者に気をつけなさい。彼らは長い衣を着て歩くのを好み、広場での敬礼や会堂の上席や宴会の上座をよろこび、
Luk 20:47 やもめたちの家を食い倒し、見えのために長い祈をする。彼らはもっときびしいさばきを受けるであろう」。
Luk 20:2 And they spoke to Him, saying, Tell us, by what authority do you do these things? Or who is he who gave you this authority?
Luk 20:3 And He answered and said to them, I will also ask you one thing, and you answer me:
Luk 20:4 The baptism of John, was it from Heaven or from men?
Luk 20:5 And they reasoned within themselves, saying, If we shall say, From Heaven, he will say, Why then did you not believe him?
Luk 20:6 But if we say, From men, then all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.
Luk 20:7 And they answered that they could not tell from where it was.
Luk 20:8 And Jesus said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Luk 20:9 And He began to speak to the people this parable: A certain man planted a vineyard and let it out to vinedressers. And he went into a far country for a long time.
Luk 20:10 And in season he sent a servant to the vinedressers, so that they should give him the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty.
Luk 20:11 And again he sent another servant. And they also beat him and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
Luk 20:12 And again he sent a third. And they also wounded him and cast him out.
Luk 20:13 And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that they will respect him when they see him.
Luk 20:14 But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him so that the inheritance may be ours.
Luk 20:15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then shall the lord of the vineyard do to them?
Luk 20:16 He shall come and destroy these vinedressers and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard this, they said, Let it not be!
Luk 20:17 And He looked at them and said, What then is this which is written, "The Stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the Head of the corner?
Luk 20:18 Whoever shall fall on that Stone shall be broken, but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder."
Luk 20:19 And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on Him the same hour. And they feared the people, for they perceived that He had spoken this parable against them.
Luk 20:20 And they watched and sent forth spies, pretending themselves to be righteous men, so that they might seize upon a word of His, that they might deliver Him in this way to the power and authority of the governor.
Luk 20:21 And they asked Him, saying, Teacher, we know that you say and teach rightly, and do not accept the person of anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
Luk 20:22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar or not?
Luk 20:23 But He perceived their craftiness and said to them, Why do you tempt Me?
Luk 20:24 Show Me a coin. Whose image and inscription does it have? They answered and said, Caesar's.
Luk 20:25 And He said to them, Therefore render to Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and to God the things which are God's.
Luk 20:26 And they could not take hold of His words before the people. And they marveled at His answer and were silent.
Luk 20:27 And certain of the Sadducees came, those speaking against a resurrection, that it was not to be. And they asked Him,
Luk 20:28 saying, Teacher, Moses wrote to us, If anyone's brother dies, having a wife, and if he dies without children, his brother should take his wife and raise up seed to his brother.
Luk 20:29 Therefore there were seven brothers. And the first took a wife and died without children.
Luk 20:30 And the second took her as a wife, and he died childless.
Luk 20:31 And the third took her. And likewise the seven left no children and died.
Luk 20:32 Last of all the woman also died.
Luk 20:33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be? For the seven had her as a wife.
Luk 20:34 And answering, Jesus said to them, The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage,
Luk 20:35 but they who shall be counted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage.
Luk 20:36 Nor can they die any more, for they are equal to the angels, and are the sons of God, being the sons of the resurrection.
Luk 20:37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses pointed out at the Bush, when he called the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
Luk 20:38 For He is not God of the dead, but of the living. For all live to Him.
Luk 20:39 And answering, certain of the scribes said, Teacher, you have spoken well.
Luk 20:40 And after that they did not dare ask Him anything.
Luk 20:41 And He said to them, How do they say that Christ is the Son of David?
Luk 20:42 Even David himself says in the Book of Psalms, "The LORD said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand
Luk 20:43 until I place Your enemies as Your footstool."
Luk 20:44 David then calls Him Lord; how then is He his son?
Luk 20:45 And as all the people were listening, He said to the disciples,
Luk 20:46 Beware of the scribes who desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the first seats in the synagogues, and the chief places at the feasts;
Luk 20:47 who devour widows' houses, and make long prayers for a show; the same shall receive a more severe condemnation.
