８章
1. さて、その後、彼はすべての町々と村々とを通りながら、天の神の良き知らせを説教してお示しになりました。また、十二人も彼と一緒にいました。
2. その上、ダイモニオンどもと虚弱とから癒されたマグダレーネと呼ばれていたマリアも一緒でした。その女性から七つのダイモニオンどもが出て行ったのです。
3. また、ヘロデの執事であるクーザの妻ヨハンナとスザンナ、また、他にも多くの人々が自分たちの財産で彼に仕えていました。
4. さて、非常に大きな群衆が集まってきた時、彼らはあらゆる町から来たのですが、彼はたとえ話によって語られました。
5. 「一人の種まきが自分の種蒔きのために出て行った。それから、彼が種蒔をしていると、ある〔種〕は道ばたに落ちた。すると、それは踏みつけられ、その上、空の鳥どもがそれを食べた。
6. ある〔種は〕岩の上に落ちた。しかし、芽を出すとすぐにそれは枯れ果ててしまった。そこには湿気がないからだ。
7. またある種は棘科の茂みの中に落ちた。すると、その棘の茂みはその〔種〕と一緒に芽が出てきて、それをふさいでしまった。
8. しかし他の種は良い地に落ち、そして、芽が出てきた。すると、百倍の収穫があった。」これらのことを言うと、彼は叫ばれました。「聞くための耳をもっているなら、彼は聞きなさい！」
9. その時、彼の弟子たちは彼に尋ねて、こう言いました。「この譬えはどういう意味ですか？」
10. すると、彼は仰せられました。「おまえたちには、天の神の王国の秘密について知ることが許されて（与えられて）いる。しかし、他の人々には、諸々の譬えで語られる。それは、彼らが見ているのに、彼らは見ないためであり、また、聞いているのに、彼らは理解しないためだ。
11. ところで、この譬えはこういう〔意味だ〕種は天の神の御言葉だ。
12. 道ばたにおちたものとは、聞いてはいるのだが、ディアボロスが来て、彼らの心から、その言葉を取り去ってしまう。それは、彼らが信じて救われないためだ。
13. また、岩の上に落ちた者たちとは、彼らは聞いたときは喜んでその言葉を受け入れる。しかし、それらには根がない。その人は、しばらくは信じているが、試みの時には脱落していく。
16. 明かりを灯して、それを器で覆ってしまったり、ベッドの下に置く人は誰もいない。そうではなくて、入ってくる人がそのあかりが見えるようになるために、それをあかり台の上に置く。
17. 現わされないで秘密になっているものは何もないし、知られて光に照らされないものも何もないからだ。
18. それで、あなたがたはどう聞くかに注意しなさい。誰でも、持っている人にはもっと与えられ、誰でも持っていない人は、彼が持っていると思っているものまでも、彼から取られてしまうからだ。」
19. その時、彼の母と兄弟達とが彼のところに来ましたが、群衆のために彼に近寄る事ができないでいました。
20. さて、その事をある人が彼に言いました。「あなたのお母さんとあなたの兄弟たちが外で立っています。あなたに会いたいのですよ。」
21. しかし、彼は答えて彼らに仰せられました。「私の母、私の兄弟たちは、これらの天の神の御言葉を聞いてそれを行う人たちだ。」
22. さて、ある日、彼は彼の弟子たちと一緒に一艘の小舟に乗り込み、それから、彼は彼らに仰せられました。「さあ、湖を横切って向こう岸に行こう。」そこで、彼らは出帆しました。

27. そして、彼がその地に足を踏み出されたとき、そこで、ある男性が町から出て来て彼と出合いました。その人は長い間ダイモニオンどもに取り付かれていました。その上、彼は何も着ておらず、家に住まずに諸々の墓場にいました。
28. 彼はイエスを見ると、絶叫して彼の足もとにひれ伏し、そして、大声で言いました。「おれとあなたとなんの関係があるというんですか。イエスよ、至高者、天の神の息子よ？お願いだから、おれを苦しめないでくれ。」
29. というのは、彼がその汚れた霊に対して、その男性から出て行くようにお命じになったからです。なぜなら、それはしばしば彼を捕らえ、その上、彼は見張りのもとに置かれて諸々の鎖で縛られ、また、手枷足枷をかけられていました。しかし、彼は拘束物を壊し、その上、ダイモニオンによって荒野においやられていました。

32. ところで、多くの豚の群れが山で餌を食べていました。そこで、彼らは彼にその豚ども（彼ら）の中に入ることを許可してくれるように懇願しました。すると、彼は彼らに許しました。
33. その時、ダイモニオンどもはその男性から出て行き、そして、その豚に入りました。するとその群れはその切り立った場所から暴走して駆け下り、湖に入って溺れてしまいました。
34. その時、それら〔の豚〕を飼っていた人々は何が起こったかを見て、彼らは逃げ出してそのことを町と、その地域に語りました。
35. そこで、彼らは何が起こったのかを見に出て来てイエスの所に来ました。そして、ダイモニオンどもが出てしまった男性がイエスの足もとに座り、着物を着て正気になっているのを見て、彼らは恐れました。
36. またダイモニオン（ダイモニオン）に取り付かれていた人が、どのように癒されたのかを見た人が彼らに語りました。
37. その時、ガダレネの周辺の地域の人々は皆彼に彼らから離れて（出て行って）くれるようにと頼みました。彼らは非常な恐れに捕らわれていたからです。そこで、彼は小舟に乗り込んでお帰りになりました。
38. ところで、ダイモニオン(ダイモニオン)どもが出ていった男性は、彼に（彼と）一緒にいさせてくれるようにと懇願しました。しかし、イエスは彼を送り去らせてこう仰せられました。
39. 「あなたは自分の家に帰りなさい。そして、天の神があなたにどんなに素晴らしい事をして下さったのかを知らせなさい。」そこで、彼は帰って行き、町じゅうにイエスが彼にどんなに素晴らしい事どもをして下さったのかを伝え広めました。
40. さて、イエスがお帰りになると、群衆は彼を歓迎しました。彼らは彼を待っていたからです。
41. すると、見よ、ヤイロスという名前の人が来ましたが、彼はシナゴーグの司でした。そして、彼はイエスの足もとにひれ伏し、彼に、彼の家に来てくれるように懇願しました。
42. 彼に１２歳の一人娘がいたが、彼女が死にかかっていたからです。しかし、彼が行こうとなさると、群衆が彼に群がっていました。
43. さて、ある女性が１２年間も長血を患っていて、自分の（彼女の）生計を全部医者に費やしていましたが、何も良くなりませんでした。
44. その人が後ろから来て、彼の衣の縁に触りました。すると、すぐに彼女の血の流出は止まりました。
45. すると、イエスは仰せられました。「誰が私に触ったのか？」皆がそれを否定すると、ペテロや、彼と一緒にいた者たちが言いました。「主よ、この群衆があなたに群がって、迫っています。それなのに（そして）あなたは、『誰が私にさわったのか？』とおっしゃるのですか」
46. しかし、イエスは仰せられました。「誰かが私にさわった。力が私から出て行ったのを感じたのだ。」
47. さて、女性は彼女は隠れていられない事を知り、震えながら来て彼の前に平伏しました。彼女は全ての人々のいるところで、彼に触った理由と、どのように彼女がすぐに癒されたかを明らかにしました。
48. そこで、彼は彼女に仰せられました。「娘さん。大いに喜んでいなさい。あなたの信仰があなたをよくした。行きなさい。安心して。」
49. 彼がまだ話している間に、シナゴーグの司の家から何人かが来て、彼にこう言いました。「あなたの娘さんは死にました。先生を煩わせてはいけません。」
50. しかし、イエスがそれを聞くと、彼に答えて仰せられました。「恐れるな。ただ信じなさい。そうすれば（そして）彼女は良くなる。」
51. 彼がその家にお入りになった時、彼はペテロ、ヤコブ、ヨハネ、そして、その少女の父親と母親の他はだれも入ることをお許しになりませんでした。
52. さて、皆は彼女のために泣いて悲しんでいました。しかし、彼は仰せられました。『泣いてはいけない。彼女は死んでいない。眠っているのだ。』」
53. すると、彼女が死んだ事を知っていたので、彼らは彼を嘲り笑いました。
54. しかし、彼は彼らを皆外に出して彼女の手を取り、こう呼ばれました。「少女よ、起きなさい」
55. その時、彼女の霊が帰り、彼女はすぐに起き上がりました。それから、彼は彼女に何か食べ物をあげるようにとお命じになりました。
56. すると、彼女の両親はびっくりしました。しかし、彼は彼らに誰にも何が起こったのかを言わないようにと警告されました。
Luk 8:1 And it happened afterwards, He traveled in every city and village, proclaiming and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with Him,
Luk 8:2 and also certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven demons,
Luk 8:3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to Him of their possessions.
Luk 8:4 And a great crowd coming together, and those in each city coming to Him, He spoke by a parable:
Luk 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, the one fell by the roadside and was trampled; and the birds of the air devoured it.
Luk 8:6 And other fell on a rock, and sprouting, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
Luk 8:7 And other fell amidst thorns, and springing up with the thorns, they choked it.
Luk 8:8 And other fell on good ground and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundredfold. And when He had said these things, He cried, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
Luk 8:9 And His disciples asked Him, saying, What might this parable be?
Luk 8:10 And He said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. But to others I speak in parables, so that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand.
Luk 8:11 And the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.
Luk 8:12 Those by the roadside are the ones who hear; then the Devil comes and takes the Word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Luk 8:13 Those on the rock are the ones who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy. And these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luk 8:14 And those which fell among thorns are the ones who, when they have heard, go forth and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of life, and do not bear to maturity.
Luk 8:15 But those on the good ground are the ones who, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.
Luk 8:16 And no one lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a couch; but he sets it on a lampstand so that those who enter in may see the light.
Luk 8:17 For nothing is secret that shall not be revealed; nor secret which shall not be known and come to be revealed.
Luk 8:18 Therefore be careful how you hear. For whoever has, to him shall be given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.
Luk 8:19 And His mother and His brothers came to Him. And they could not come near Him because of the crowd.
Luk 8:20 And it was told to Him by some, who said, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside desiring to see You.
Luk 8:21 And He answered and said to them, My mother and My brothers are those who hear the Word of God and do it.
Luk 8:22 And it happened on a certain day that He went into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they put out to sea.
Luk 8:23 But as they sailed, He fell asleep. And a storm of wind came onto the lake. And they were being filled with water and were in jeopardy.
Luk 8:24 And they came to Him and awakened Him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! Then being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm.
Luk 8:25 And He said to them, Where is your faith? And being afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this One? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!
Luk 8:26 And they sailed down to the country of the Gadarenes, which is across from Galilee.
Luk 8:27 And He going out onto land, He met a certain man out of the city, who had had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, nor stayed in a house, but among the tombs.
Luk 8:28 And seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him and said with a loud voice, What is to me and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I beseech You, Do not torment me!
Luk 8:29 (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had seized him. And he had been kept bound in chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven into the deserted places by the demons.)
Luk 8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion; because many demons had entered into him.
Luk 8:31 And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss.
Luk 8:32 And there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain. And they begged Him that He would allow them to enter into them. And He allowed them.
Luk 8:33 And coming out of the man, the demons entered into the pigs. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked.
Luk 8:34 And those feeding the pigs, and seeing the thing, fled. And leaving, they reported to the city and to the farms.
Luk 8:35 And they went out to see what had been done. And they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had departed sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
Luk 8:36 Also those who saw it told them how the demon-possessed one was healed.
Luk 8:37 And all the multitude of the neighborhood of the Gadarenes were seized with a great fear, and asked Him to depart from them. And entering into the boat, He returned.
Luk 8:38 And the man out of whom the demons had gone out begged Him, desiring to be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,
Luk 8:39 Return to your own house and declare what God has done to you. And he went his way and proclaimed throughout all the city what great things Jesus had done to him.
Luk 8:40 And it happened when Jesus had returned, the people received Him. For they were all waiting for Him.
Luk 8:41 And behold, a man named Jairus came, and he was a synagogue-ruler. And he fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him that He would come into his house.
Luk 8:42 For he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as He went, the people thronged Him.
Luk 8:43 And a woman who had a flow of blood twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any)
Luk 8:44 came behind Him and touched the border of His garment. And instantly her flow of blood was staunched.
Luk 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowd presses and jostles You, and You say, Who touched Me?
Luk 8:46 And Jesus said, Someone has touched Me, for I know that power has gone out of Me.
Luk 8:47 And seeing that she was not hidden, the woman came trembling. And falling down before Him, she declared to Him before all the people why she had touched Him, and how she was instantly healed.
Luk 8:48 And He said to her, Daughter, be comforted. Your faith has saved you; go in peace.
Luk 8:49 He was still speaking when someone came from the synagogue-ruler, saying to him, Your daughter is dead, do not trouble the Teacher.
Luk 8:50 But when Jesus heard, He answered Him, saying, Do not fear, only believe and she shall be healed.
Luk 8:51 And coming into the house, He allowed no one to go in, except Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of the girl.
Luk 8:52 And all were weeping and bewailing her. But He said, Do not weep; she has not died, but sleeps.
Luk 8:53 And they ridiculed, knowing that she was dead.
Luk 8:54 And He put them all out. And He took her by the hand and called, saying, Little girl, arise!
Luk 8:55 And her spirit came again, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that food be given her to eat.
Luk 8:56 And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one the thing that happened.
